Campus Head Librarian
The Campus Head Librarian reports to the Campus Dean. Primary responsibilities are as follows:
- Supervision and administration of all library function, facilities and personnel on the Campus.
- Coordination of the acquisition, distribution and use of library instructional materials and equipment used at the Campus.
- Coordination of curriculum needs with library programs through consultation and cooperation with faculty members and Campus Dean.
- Design and execute programs which will promote library usage and improve library services on the Campus.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of library staff assigned to the Campus.
- Supervise and evaluate library personnel assigned to the Campus, functioning in the areas of circulation, reference and audio-visual services.
- Initiate library budget requests pertaining to the Campus for submission to the Campus Dean as well as the expenditure of funds allocated to the Campus library.
- Collect statistics relating to the use of instructional materials and equipment and preparation of studies and reports as necessary
- Serve on various College and Campus committees.
- Other duties as assigned by the Campus Dean.
