ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF THE COMPUTER CENTER

The Associate Director in the Computer Center reports to the Director of Computer Center. Duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Coordinate activities of the Computer Center’s Application Development Unit, including supervising programming staff, assigning and scheduling application developm&nt tasks, coordinating production/operations schedules with the center’s operation staff, and overseeing the process of providing feedback to end users on the status of their requests.

2. Coordinate the Computer Center production calendar in conjunction with other center administrators, operations and clerical staff.

3. Periodically review administrative system applications with end users and programming staff, determining effectiveness and scheduling upgrades and replacements as needed.

4. Possess an overall understanding of all college systems and related programs, and provide input and recommendations to the center's director on administrative system planning and budgetary requirements.

5. Supervise development, help maintain, coordinate and supervise the daily operations of the following systems:

Financial Aid

Student Accounts

6. Provide operational backup for the above operations when needed.
