The Suffolk Community College Guild of Administrative Officers is an independent, incorporated labor organization comprised of Suffolk County Community College employees across three campuses and two downtown centers in Suffolk County, NY. Our members are largely responsible for the management and supervision of faculty, as well as the day-to-day operations of the college.
Suffolk Community College Guild members can be found all across college operations, including Academic Department Chairs, Student Affairs, Information Technology, Marketing and Communications, Veterans Affairs, Grants Development, Plant Operations, Public Safety, Business and Financial Affairs, and more. Simply put, the Guild of Administrative Officers keeps the college running…efficiently and effectively.
The Suffolk Community College Guild of Administrative Officers is governed by an Executive Board that represents the full Guild membership.
In addition to representing the managers and supervisors of SUNY Suffolk, the Suffolk Community College Guild of Administrative Officers contributes to the overall health, culture and vibrancy of both our internal and external communities. Our organization proudly participates in a host of events and efforts that provide student scholarships. We are also actively involved with other regional labor groups, elected officials and philanthropic activities. In addition, countless current and retired Guild members are actively involved in their individual communities as volunteers, mentors and community leaders.
