GAO Professional Development Fund

This fund is available to all members of the Guild of Administrative Officers for the following Professional development activities:

1. Non reimbursed tuition up to but not to exceed $1,000
2. Books and supplies for approved college courses, up to but not to exceed $500
3. Approved Conferences, beyond the contractual limit, up to but not to exceed $500

The number of Guild Members supported by this Fund will be limited by the total amount of funds available each year. ($2,500)

If the total amount of the requests exceeds the funds available in any given year the award recipients will be determined by a lottery. The lottery (if necessary) will be held at the end of the Opening Day Ceremony.

Applicants should apply in writing by 5:00pm August 15th of each year the Fund is available.
